Introduction

The “2026 AI for Planetary Health Economics Summer Program” is co-hosted by the Peking University Institute for Global Health and Development and Yale Center Beijing. This one-week intensive program is designed for outstanding young scholars in global health, health economics, health policy and management, and related disciplines.

Participants will attend in-person academic activities at Peking University, including lectures from renowned scholars, scientists, and entrepreneurs from top academic institutions including Peking University and Yale University. The program will focus on cutting-edge economic topics related to “AI for Planetary Health”. In addition to lectures and forums, the program includes visits to international organizations and academic institutions, such as the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the World Health Organization (WHO) Beijing Office, and Yale Center Beijing.
