The Event

In the recent decade, the progress of gender equality around the world has attracted a lot of attention. In China, most family and aging policies are gender-blind and are often framed as gender-neutral. On July 13, Emma Zang, Assistant Professor of Sociology, will discuss several important public policies in China, including the Marriage Law and the legal retirement age policy, and their implications on gender equality.
