The Event

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is characterized by new technologies that are quickly and radically impacting methods of production in all disciplines, economies and industries. In this panel, we will explore the future of employment, examining the general impact of new technologies on the labor structure of society and related social consequences. We will also investigate the restructuring of our education system and potential retraining of professionals to meet future employment demands. Finally, we will discuss strategies for young professionals’ careers in the face of a new era of productivity.

LANGUAGE

The language of the event will be Chinese or English depending on each of the speaker's preference, with simultaneous translation into either languages.

Zhiwu Chen
Professor of Finance at Yale University

His areas of expertise include finance theory, securities valuation, emerging markets, and China’s economy and capital markets.
