The Event

This summer, the Yale Young Global Scholars Program brought 1350+ outstanding high school students from all over the world together to discuss pressing global challenges. In an effort to introduce this incredible opportunity to more Chinese students, six YYGS alumni from China will host an information session at the Yale Beijing Center. The information session will also include a brief introduction of the YYGS Beijing session in the winter.

The six panelists, having each attended one of the six sessions - Politics, Law and Economics (PLE), International Affairs and Security (IAS), Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE), Applied Science and Engineering (ASE), Biological and Biomedical Studies (BBS), and Sustainability, Energy and Environment (SEE) - will share their unique experiences, insights and growth at YYGS.

Note: YYGS is open to rising juniors and seniors and YYGS-Beijing is open to *current* rising sophomores and juniors who will be sophomores and juniors by the time they submit their applications. For more eligibility information, please visit the YYGS and YYGS-Beijing program websites.
