The Event

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has given rise to a wide range of mobile enterprises. The last two years, however, have seen unexpected changes in the investment environment, slowing an area once abundant in new business opportunities, and causing popular business models such as P2P, O2O, B2B and so on, to lose some of their luster. These changes have caused investors to reflect carefully on their returns and losses, as they strive to move forward and discover the “Next Big Thing”.

The Speaker

WANG Jun
Managing Partner, Kinzon Capital

WANG Jun serves as Founding and Managing Partner of Kinzon Capital. Mr. Wang has a rich professional history, formerly serving as Chairman of Fosun Kinzon Capital and CEO of Jiangtong Investments, overseeing equity investments and asset management. Mr. Wang was the Chairman of Xueda Education, running more than 300 campus operations nationwide and leading the group to become listed in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: XUE). Mr. Wang previously served at CDH Venture Partners, investing in the TMT (Technology, Media, Telecoms) sector; and at McKinsey & Company, advising TMT companies. In his early career Mr. Wang also held positions in the United States with Amazon and Oracle.

Mr. Wang holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Peking University. Now, Mr. Wang is focusing on online education, digital medicine, artificial intelligence and big data industry.
