BACKGROUND

How an issue is framed critically influences public response and outcomes. Issue frames do not arise by chance; they are the conscious products of key stakeholders. During this workshop, Professor Bach will provide nonmarket managers and public relations specialists with in-depth analyses of effective issue framing, shedding light on core principles for strategically shaping dialog on critical issues.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This half-day program is designed for professionals who are involved or interested in the fields of Marketing, Public Relations, Government Relations, Risk Management, Content Development or Communications.

THE WORKSHOP

Grounded in the core insights of David Bach and Daniel J. Blake's “Frame or Get Framed: The Critical Role of Issue Framing in Nonmarket Management”, the program will cultivate practical understanding through simulation exercises on and discussions of pressing contemporary issues.

Participants will learn key strategic principles and framing skills based on internationally impactful case studies. Participants will present and gain live feedback from David Bach and their peers, as well as gain experience by critically assessing competitors' strategic plans under Bach's models.
