The Event

Innovation empowered by disruptive technologies is crucial for companies from most industries to survive and thrive in this digital age. Many large corporations face an increasing need for collaboration with global and local startup community to have access to cutting-edge technologies and solutions, stimulate internal innovation, and cultivate new business opportunities.

We invited three executives from multinational companies and three startup founders to share their insights into the best practices of and lessons learned from their collaborating endeavors.

Ms. Jackie Ye Luan is the founder & CEO of Lavector Technologies, a Beijing-based marketing automation software startup that leverages machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies to drive marketing and sales performance. She graduated from Yale University with a Ph.D. in Marketing.

Mr. Ye Wang holds a Ph.D from Yale University, a M.S. and a B.E. from Tsinghua University, with expertise in A/B testing (online controlled experimentation), large-scale networked systems, big data, and Internet technologies. Previously, he worked for Google and was responsible for the innovation and development of ad products.

Ms. Rong Lin is the director of PwC CCoE, responsible for PwC startups incubation and acceleration program. The program is aiming to serve Innovative companies and connect them to the ecosystem clients and PwC network to accelerate their growth. She holds an MBA in finance & accounting from Emory University in US and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Renmin University of China.

Mr. Lin Tan is currently responsible for recruiting, mentoring tech driven startups to grow on Microsoft Azure Cloud Ecosystem. As an IT veteran in Great China Region, Mr. Tan has broad experiences in all aspects of General Management, including Major Account Sales, Marketing and Business Development across local startups, international companies newly entering China, and established large MNCs.

Mr. Julien Zhang is responsible for setting the direction and driving growth strategies for the operations of JLL in North China region, commits to providing Chinese corporations, developers and investors with integrated consultancy and strategic advisory solutions, and leverages JLL’s global platform to assist Chinese firms. With more than 21 years’ tenure in China, Australia and United States, Mr. Zhang has extensive commercial real estate experience in consulting, leasing and investment.
