Ticket:RMB 60 for alumni of Yale and UChicago, and participants of past Yale Center Beijing programs; RMB 80 for regular admission.

*The registration fee for the event is non-refundable. Unless due to a force majeure reason, Yale Center Beijing will not refund any part of the registration fee if a participant fails to attend the event.

Walk-ins will not be accepted.

The language of the event will be Chinese.

Join us on January 11 as Professor Qiming Wei, Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians, and Mr. Tien Beng Phua, Administrative President of Peking University International Hospital, engage in an in-depth discussion.

Qiming Wei
Fellow, American College of Cardiology
Fellow, American College of Chest Physicians

Professor Qiming Wei is Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is a leading figure in Major Special Funds of the National Institutes of Health, and Overseas Review Committee Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Wei received his doctor degree of Medicine from Mie University in Japan, and has served as Special Training Researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School, Assistant Professor at Mayo Clinic, Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Maryland, Director of Nanomedicine Research at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Dean of the American Academy of Nanomedicine.

Administrative President, Peking University International Hospital

Mr. Tien Beng Phua has over 15 years of experience in managing medical institutions, driving long term sustainable business development and achieving strategic goals. Mr. Phua is the Co-CEO of PKU Healthcare Group and Administrative President of Peking University International Hospital, overseeing operational and managerial transformation, strategic planning, performance management reform, process improvement, technology empowerment, and development of “Insurance + Healthcare” ecosystem.

Ms. Milun Zhang is the Head of Government Affairs and Policy Advocacy at Amgen China. Ms. Zhang has worked in market access and government affairs at Johnson & Johnson China, Novartis, RDPAC, and as an analyst at J.P. Morgan Hong-Kong. Ms. Zhang holds an MBA/MPH degree from Yale University.
