Ticket: RMB 60 for Yale alumni; RMB 80 for regular admission.
*The registration fee for the event is non-refundable. Unless due to a force majeure reason, Yale Center Beijing will not refund any part of the registration fee if a participant fails to attend the event.

The Event
Following the first lecture of Yale Club of Beijing AI Talk Series held at the end of July, the Yale Club of Beijing is inviting alumni in the AI field to gather at Yale Center Beijing on August 24, with a focus on the latest developments in intelligent robotics.

Martin Ma PhD '07
Founder & CEO, Happy Universe
Martin Ma is the founder and CEO of Happy Universe. He helped many startups and multinational companies in their digital/AI transformation and globalization. His new book AIGC: From ChatGPT to Multimodel Application Enablement will be published in September, 2024. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Tsinghua University and a PhD in Computer Science from Yale University. He is also a Yale Graduate School Alumni Association Board member in 2024-2025.
Max Zhou MS ’14
Founder/CEO, Presence
Mr. Zhou is Founder and CEO of Presence and formerly a co-founder of MetaApp, with 200 million registered users and 150 million USD in venture funding. He was the Head of Mobile at Mobike and worked on the growth team at LinkedIn and Uber. Mr. Zhou enrolled in the Special Class for the Gifted Young at University of Science and Technology of China and received a MS in Computer Science from Yale.
Shaokun Wang MMS ’22
Vice President, HuaGai Capital
Shaokun Wang is Vice President of HuaGai Capital, focusing on private equity investment in high-tech industry, such as AI and Advanced Manufacturing. Prior to joining HuaGai Capital, Shaokun was a Project Executive at China Renaissance Group, where he was engaged in several private equity transactions of TMT unicorns. Shaokun obtained his BBA from Renmin University of China, and MMS from Yale School of Management.
Fred Yang PhD ’28
Founder & CEO, UniX AI
Fred Yang is Founder and CEO of the humanoid robotic company UniX AI. Fred has made several world-class achievements in the field of robotic vision and touch. He is the author of UniTouch, the world’s first tactile multi-modal model, which is also one of the general underlying models of UniX AI. He built the world’s largest existing vision and touch dataset “Touch and go,” which is one of the important general benchmarks for robotic visual-tactile pre-training models in the world.
