We invite Yale alumni from the 1990s to the 2020s to share their academic experiences on campus and reflect on their career journeys since graduation.
Speakers
Wei Che MA ’95
Wei Che is the Executive Director of the Multinational Corporations Council for Carbon Neutrality (MNC50). He has spent four decades working with public and private organizations to promote international business cooperation. For the past 20 years, he has been collaborated with Nordic-based multinational corporations, leading their corporate communication strategies in China. He has also devoted himself to the study of global energy transition and sustainability. Wei Che holds an MA in International Relations from Yale University and a BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
Martin Ma PhD ’07
Martin Ma is the Founder and CEO of Happy Universe. He helped many startups and multinational companies in their digital/AI transformation and globalization. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Tsinghua University and a PhD in Computer Science from Yale University. He is also a Yale Graduate School Alumni Association Board member in 2024-2027.
Mingrong Weng ’11
Mingrong Weng was born in Fujian Province, China and moved to the United States at the age of eight. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Yale University in East Asian Studies, she spent two years as a middle school teacher in rural China, marking the beginning of her journey in international education. As a university and careers advisor, she has abundant experience counseling students regarding various topics in international education, and works with them to enhance and best highlight their strengths on their college applications worldwide.
Jamil Liu MAM ’22
Jamil Liu is the Co-Founder and General Manager of Meego Inc. With over a decade of experience in international trade and engineering, He has led initiatives in electric mobility and new energy solutions across the Americas, Africa, and countries along the Belt and Road Initiative. He is committed to applying green technologies across diverse settings and brings extensive hands-on experience in promoting sustainable development and fostering international collaboration.

Helen Sun MAM ’13
Helen Sun is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AspenBridge Advisory. With two decades of experience in the technology sector, she worked at Baidu, Huawei, and its subsidiaries for many years. Her roles encompassed strategic planning, industry research, product and operations management, process transformation, and quality management. She holds degrees from Yale School of Management and Renmin University of China.
