The Event
Join Yale alumni worldwide on October 27 for an inspiring conversation with Mohan Munasinghe, Former Vice Chair of the United Nations (UN) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and April Hu ’84, Chair of Yale International Alliance, on how artificial intelligence and other breakthrough technologies are reshaping our path toward a sustainable future.
During the event, you’ll learn how the sustainomics framework—first launched at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit—offers practical and integrated solutions to global challenges such as climate change and inclusive growth. You'll also discover how the balanced inclusive green growth (BIGG) approach and digital innovation can accelerate progress toward the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs). And you will hear about how China and other nations are leading the way toward an eco-civilization built on science, technology, and shared prosperity.
