Peilin Jia ’96
ORH Partners

Peilin Jia is a partner at ORH Partners, a Silicon Valley-based VC fund. Her career spans notable roles at McKinsey, Jones Day, and Macquarie Capital, where she contributed to the Hong Kong IPOs of major firms such as China Merchants Bank, Minsheng Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, and Huaneng Renewables. 

Huan Gao MA ’03

Huan Gao is Beijing Branch Manager at Wells Fargo Bank. She joined the bank in Philadelphia and has held various positions in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing，managing major relationships of Chinese financial institutions for business development all these years. She has a BA degree in English from Fudan University, an MA degree in International Relations from Yale, and completed the Finance and Accounting Program at the Wharton School. She also writes book reviews and essays related to history and travel.

Hang Yin PhD ’04

Hang Yin is a Jing Shi Distinguished Professor and ‌Executive Dean‌ of the Institute for Advanced Study at Beijing Normal University, and was appointed as Professor and Associate Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Tsinghua University. He was a tenured faculty member at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research interests include the interface of chemistry, biology, and engineering with particular focuses on AI drug design, extracellular vesicles, cell signaling biochemistry, and biotechnology development. He holds a bachelor's degree from Peking University and a PhD from Yale University.

Jie Min ’13

Jie Min received her BA with honors in Economics and Political Science from Yale College, her MBA from Yale School of Management, and her JD from Yale Law School, where she was a Laura Cha Scholar. After graduation, Jie began her career at Davis Polk in New York before returning to Asia. She is now a Partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, based in Beijing, where she focuses on cross-border M&A and private equity, and has played a leading role in a number of landmark cross-border transactions in recent years.

Tong (Scarlett) Zuo ’16

Tong (Scarlett) Zuo is Deputy Secretary-General of the Committee on Public Welfare and Cultural Promotion (Spiritual Care) of the China Association for Life Care and a Youth Committee Member of the Hospice Care Committee of the China Association for Mental Health. She serves as a lecturer for palliative care training programs at Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China and is a humanistic care volunteer with the Beijing Ciyuan Center at Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital’s palliative care unit. She has provided care to nearly 100 terminally ill patients and their families and was featured in a special report by CCTV’s Oriental Horizon. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed Chinese and English journals including BMC Palliative Care. She holds a BA in History from Yale University and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art and the Market from Christie's Education.

Helen Sun MAM ’13

Helen Sun is currently the Director of Investor Relations at ECC (Elevation China Capital). With two decades of experience in the technology sector, she worked at Baidu, Huawei, and its subsidiaries for many years. Her roles encompassed strategic planning, industry research, product and operations management, process transformation, and quality management. She holds degrees from Yale School of Management and Renmin University of China.
