The Event

Yale affiliates are invited to a discussion of undergraduate admissions at Yale, in China, and around the world with Jeremiah Quinlan, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at Yale. In particular, Dean Quinlan will focus on admissions as Yale College stands on the cusp of the first expansion of its undergraduate student body in a generation.

The Speaker

As the Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at Yale, Jeremiah Quinlan is responsible for Yale’s worldwide outreach to high-achieving students, the selection process itself, the development of university admissions policy and practices, and the advancement of Yale’s position as a global leader in undergraduate education. Since 2003, Jeremiah has served in a variety of roles in the Yale Admissions office. As the Director of Outreach and Recruitment, he led efforts to attract high-achieving low-income students and overhauled the office’s yield activities, resulting in (at the time) the most diverse freshman class in Yale’s history in terms of race and socio-economic status. 

Mr. Quinlan graduated magna cum laude from Yale with a B.A in History in 2003. More recently, he received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, majoring in Marketing, Finance, and Social Enterprise.
