The EventThe science of positive psychology focuses on the study of happiness and well-being. In the past twenty years, positive psychologists across the world have researched and discovered empirical evidence on what works and what doesn't in building and sustaining happiness. These practical applications can help guide psychological well-being, character development and organizational development, unleashing our potential to live a joyful and meaningful life.
In the session, we will begin by discussing concrete challenges facing Chinese people in present-day China. We will then introduce the study of happiness and how it can help us to face these challenges, building optimism and a belief system to fully enjoy work and life. We will talk about the newest model of positive psychology, specifically focusing on 5 main aspects of building a flourishing life. We will conduct self-evaluations on how well we are doing in relevant areas, learn the “happiness formula”, and explore practical strategies for building a flourishing life.
