The Event

For those of you interested in the future of international diplomacy, energy security and climate change, this is a unique opportunity to hear from and dialogue with Canadian Ambassador Guy Saint-Jacques, who will share his insights on energy, the environment, climate change and the relationship between China and Canada.

Canadian Ambassador to China

Guy Saint-Jacques, Canadian Ambassador to China, took office in October 2012; this is his fourth posting to the People’s Republic of China. He joined the Foreign Affairs Department in 1977, and has served as Deputy Director of Environment and Energy Division, among other posts. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to China, Mr. Saint-Jacques was Canada's Chief Negotiator and Ambassador for Climate Change.
