Bing Yuan (Yale JD '98)
Managing Director at Hony Capital

Mr. Bing Yuan joined Hony Capital as a Director in April 2009, was promoted to Managing Director in January 2010, and is now also in charge of Hony’s PE Investment Management Department. Prior to joining Hony, Mr. Yuan was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Principal Investments in Hong Kong.

Tingjun Liu
Vice President of Taikang Insurance Group, CEO of Taikang Community Investment Co., Ltd

Mr. Liu joined Taikang Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (now Taikang Insurance Group) in 1997. He has led Taikang Insurance Group's healthcare-industry strategic deployment and seen through strategic investments in Nanjing Xianlin Drum Tower Hospital, Taikang Tongji Hospital, and Harmonicare Medical. Mr. Liu received his Ph.D. in Economics from Wuhan University.

Bo Yu
Founding Partner and Chairman of Ch-Gemstone Capital, Chairman of Ham's Company,
Chairman of Ch-Gemstone Medical Group and Chairman of Ch-Gemstone Healthcare Holdings

Mr. Yu is a veteran of equity investment in the healthcare industry, and has a wealth of experience in both pharmaceutical and medical industry management. He co-founded Ch-Gemstone Capital in 2013, which manages a fund of RMB 25.6 billion. Prior to this, Mr. Yu worked for the China Food and Drug Administration, and served as partner at Kunwu Jiuding Capital until 2013, where he was responsible for the management of several pharmaceutical industry funds. Mr. Yu was appointed Chairman of Ham's in 2017.

Kai Zhao
Managing Partner at Cenova Capital

Dr. Zhao has over 20 years of experience in healthcare management and investment, biomedical research and clinical practice. Before joining Cenova, Dr. Zhao co-founded two hospital management and investment firms, where he led the acquisition of six hospitals, including four second tier hospitals and two third tier hospitals. He received his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Military Medical Sciences.

Selina Zhang (Yale SOM '04)
Former Founding Partner of Private Equity Business at Meritco Services,
Managing Director of Yale Healthcare Club of China

Ms. Zhang has over 12 years of experience in private equity (PE), commercial due diligence (CDD) and portfolio management in Beijing, New York, and Los Angeles. Over the past five years, Ms. Zhang has led over 60 PE and CDD assignments. She was also previously in charge of the healthcare service business line at Meritco, where she executed about 30 projects dealing with hospital CDDs, hospital strategy, and greenfield hospital planning.
