The Event
If you look up the word "Culture" in Wikipedia, it says: a "culture" is the set of customs, traditions, and values of a society or community, such as an ethnic group or nation. Culture is the set of knowledge acquired over time. In this sense, multiculturalism values the peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among different cultures inhabiting the same planet. Culture is the source of a nation's self-confidence and inspiration, and can be a bridge across national boundaries. How can the power of culture help build peace around the world? We are honored to invite the Former Minister of France Dominique de Villepin to share his views on "The Power of Culture and Peace". Alumni from HEC Paris and Yale will have the privilege to join Mr. de Villepin in an intimate discussion on the topic.
