The Event
In an increasingly interconnected world, school still exists as an isolated island that falls behind the latest trends. The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) means that AI has taken over more and more jobs that only humans were competent to carry out before. However, education, a field that is supposed to cultivate people and give meaning to lives, has been anxiety-ridden and lacking in vision.
How can we drive innovation in education, in order to nurture engaged, empowered and empathetic individuals with the strength of character and voice to cope with future challenges and make a difference in the world?
Since the founding of the ETU School in 2016, we have been dedicated to offer whole-person education, in hopes of bringing back the essence of education. Along the journey of building a school for the future, we are fortunate to meet many educators at the forefront of innovation. Although innovation comes in different forms, these innovations have centered on certain core values, including love and understanding of children, the belief in inspiring intrinsic motivation for learning, and the relentless pursuit of bringing common sense back to education, whether in China, the U.S. or Finland.
On July 5th, we are honored to convene pioneers in education innovation from China and the U.S. to ETU's approach to education by in both China and the U.S., and to discuss how we can "Bring Common Sense Back to Education: From A Global Perspective."
LANGUAGE
The language of the event will be English and Chinese.
