The Event

We sincerely invite you to join us at the Yale SOM Reception in Beijing where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the unique advantages of an SOM program. The evening will include a presentation about the school and the opportunity to hear directly from Lorenzo Caliendo, Professor of Economics at the Yale School of Management. You’ll also be able to interact directly with Yale SOM alumni who will be in attendance.

The Speaker

Lorenzo Caliendo
Professor of Economics & Yale School of Management

Lorenzo Caliendo is Professor of Economics at the Yale School of Management and also affiliated with the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale University. He is a Faculty Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a researcher at the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago and a Masters in Economics from Auckland University. He was previously a Research Fellow at IES-Princeton University, a lecturer at the University of Chicago, and a Global Future Council Fellow at the World Economic Forum—Future of International Trade and Investment Council. He has received the Uruguay National Prizes in Economics from FCS and from ACADECO.
