The Event

The Yale University Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Yale Center Beijing invite Beijing-area principals and school counselors to meet John Yi, Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Yale University, and learn about the unique undergraduate experience offered at Yale. Mr. Yi will discuss academics, residential life, financial aid, and admissions policies, in addition to answering questions from attendees. As Yale strives to admit the most compelling students from all around the world, we hope you will attend on behalf of your school community.

The Speaker

John Yi '13
Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Regional Admissions Representative for China & Yale University

John Yi is an Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Yale University and responsible for applications from East and Southeast Asia. He graduated cum laude in 2013 with a B.A. in Economics from Yale University. Throughout his career, John has cultivated extensive experience across international admissions, communications, athletics, and student recruitment. He recently presented at the annual International Association for College Admission Counseling conference on the importance of caring, empathy, and mindfulness throughout the international college admissions process.
