The Event

The mental well-being of children and adults is shockingly poor. Our wise use of emotion is especially important for making sound decisions, building maintaining healthy relationships, enhancing our physical and mental health, and success at work. In this interactive talk, Dr. Brackett will (1) describe recent large-scale studies on the most predominant emotions in our culture, (2) share his Center’s evidence-based “RULER” approach to social and emotional learning that has reached over 3,500 schools across the US and 27 other countries, and (3) teach participant strategies and tools to cultivate the skills of emotional intelligence to enhance their personal and professional success.
