The Event

AmCham China is pleased to host a pre-departure guidance session for students who are preparing to study in the United States. The event will take place on May 12th at Yale Center Beijing.

2023 will be the first full academic year of offline enrollment after the pandemic. To help students better prepare and transition for the upcoming new journey, we are pleased to invite Christopher Willford, Head of Education USA at the U.S. Embassy Beijing, and Philip Oh, Consular Officer at the U.S. Embassy Beijing to share the latest trends and visa policies for studying in the US.

Representatives from United Airlines and educational institutions will share best practices and insights on travel safety, study planning, suggestions, campus life, etc. There also will be a Q&A session for our experts to address any concerns and questions that you may have about US travel policies and student safety.
