The Event

Professor Sudhir will present his research and discuss with leading big data experts and the audience on how firms can use big data measurement and analytics in combination with theoretical insights from behavioral economics to create a “test and learn” platform within firms to unlock insights to solve marketing and innovation challenges.

The Speaker

K. Sudhir is James L. Frank Professor of Marketing, Private Enterprise and Management and Director of the China India Insights Program at the Yale School of Management. He also has a secondary Professor appointment in the Yale Economics Department. He leads the quantitative academic-industry research partnerships at the Yale Center for Customer Insights (YCCI) and has worked with a number of Fortune 500 firms. He specializes in generating managerially valuable insights using data available within firms and through data generated from field experiments. He is also currently pursuing a research agenda on emerging markets. Professor Sudhir’s research has been honored with numerous awards across all major quantitative marketing journals. He is currently Senior Editor at Marketing Science, the leading quantitative journal in Marketing. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell University and has previously taught at NYU and Cornell. He has also been a visiting Fellow at MIT.
