The Event
As artificial intelligence continues to permeate various sectors, the question of how to coexist with it is becoming increasingly urgent. AI not only enhances career efficiency and shapes lifestyles but also profoundly impacts artistic creation and emotional interactions. On December 14, Victoria Lu, a renowned Chinese female curator, will give a presentation on how AI influences human's thoughts, emotions, and actions. Using her collaboration with an AI assistant as an example, she will discuss how to navigate technological transformation, fostering a mutually beneficial path toward harmonious coexistence between humans and artificial intelligence.

Victoria Lu is a strategist, art critic, filmmaker, director, and contemporary artist. She is currently a professor in the Creative Industry PhD program at Shih Chien University and the Creative Director at ASIA FILM PLUS in the UK. Previously, she served as Artistic Director of the Bund 18 Art Center in Shanghai, Creative Director of the Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art, and Director of the Yue Liang He Museum of Contemporary Art in Beijing. In 2022, she launched the Metaverse Art Annual Exhibition in Venice, Italy. Victoria is now collaborating with her AI partner, Ren Ren, on art projects and will publish “AI-Ren’s Love” to explore how AI influences human thought, emotion, and action, sharing pathways to a harmonious coexistence between humans and technology.

Stella Xu has 20 years of experience in management consulting and private equity in New York and Beijing, with a focus on advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, robotics, and AI-related industries. She also serves as a senior consultant and mentor for start-ups at Tsinghua University’s entrepreneur platform, and was awarded the “Excellent Startup Mentor” honor in 2021 and 2023. As a Yale alumna, Stella chairs YaleWomen China.
