The Event
Join Yale alumni, parents, friends, and students in Beijing for an evening reception with Lynn Cooley, Dean of the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, at Yale Center Beijing on June 10. This event marks Dean Cooley's first visit to China in her role as Dean and offers a valuable opportunity to engage with her and gain insights into Yale’s research ecosystem and the future of doctoral education.

Lynn Cooley has served as the Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences since 2014 and is the C.N.H. Long Professor of Genetics and Professor of Cell Biology and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. She also serves as Vice Provost for Postdoctoral Affairs. In these multiple capacities, Dean Cooley champions the role of PhD students within the Yale research ecosystem and has launched new multidisciplinary doctoral programs enabling curiosity driven research that benefits humanity. She also leads a research lab in the Genetics Department at Yale School of Medicine focused on germline cell development.
