The Program

In the “How to Read Others and Express Myself: Imagination and Critical Thinking” program, to be held on August 14-15, 2021, Jinyi Chu, Assistant Professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Yale University, will introduce participants to the art of understanding others and expressing oneself through literature. By engaging with the world’s foremost thinkers and texts, participants will cultivate their imagination and develop their critical thinking skills, which are essential elements of a liberal arts education at a top university.
