The Event

Former CIC President Gao Xiqing will engage with the audience in an “off-the-record” dialogue on China’s economic reform and capital markets.

The Speaker

Professor Robert Makuch, of the Yale School of Public Health, held several meetings at Yale Center Beijing on May 19th to discuss regulatory affairs science and practice in China. In the first meeting, regulatory-based data monitoring committees were discussed with several Chinese collaborators, as well as the implementation of the committees within the existing Chinese regulatory and pharmaceutical development environment.

The Beijing Newcomer Reception has been an exciting tradition where new admits gather with current students and alums. This year, the Association of Chinese Students and Scholars at Yale (ACSSY) brings old friends and new ones together to rejoice in newly established Yale Center of Beijing as a symbol of the long-lasting history between Yale and China. Representatives from the current students and alums are invited to address the group.
